Xbox is marking International Day of Persons with Disabilities by announcing several new accessibility features and initiatives.
New Accessibility Features
Xbox Adaptive Controller and Elite Series 2 Controller:
Toggle Holds: This feature allows players to keep a button or port pressed, making it easier for those who struggle with prolonged button presses.
Map Stick Movement to Button Presses: Players can map directional movements to button presses, offering more flexibility in control options.
Map Mouse Inputs to a Controller: This enables players to use their controller as a mouse and keyboard, expanding its usability beyond gaming.

Spotlight on Accessibility in Gaming
Xbox is also highlighting the accessibility features in two recently released games:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Diablo IV
Both games have been nominated for the "Innovation in Accessibility" category at the 2024 Game Awards.
Celebrating Inclusivity
Xbox is honouring the disability community by featuring the Reven pack in World of Warcraft. This pack was inspired by a Norwegian WoW player with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
