The internet is divided, is this another joke like the hundreds that have plagued us over the last decade, or is this actually happening?
The difference this time is that we have some solid evidence that this is underway, and could be closer than we think. Some very keen-eyed gamers have taken to social media after noticing some new games with added support as part of the latest NVIDIA drivers on PC.
The file names Counter-strike 2 (cs2.exe) and Counter-strike 2 (csgos2.exe) appeared to have a new profile for optimising performance on NVIDIA video cards and this is enough to push this past a rumour and an anonymous source has indicated that this is heavily in development as a priority for VALVE.
We could see CS2 Beta details in the not-too-distant future and will keep everyone updated when any further information becomes available.
